Capacity First™ is built around what developmental science tells us about how young children develop capacities through relationships, repeated practice, responsive support, and increasingly independent participation.

Research and evidence

The Educator Cohort is an 8-week guided experience for birth–5 educators ready to build Capacity First practices through everyday routines—not activities.

Educators meet weekly, apply simple micro-practices in their own classrooms, and use reflection tools to strengthen regulation, language, attention, and problem-solving.
